In addition to our subsidized German courses, we offer individual instruction in German, English, and French – either on-site or Live Online in our Online Classroom – which is eligible for the AVGS training voucher (Aktivierungs- und Vermittlungsgutschein). Group courses that are eligible for the continuing education voucher (Bildungsgutschein) are currently offered in the Berlitz Online Classroom.

In which language is the course taught?

The lessons are conducted entirely in your target language from the very first session. This helps all participants gain confidence in speaking and quickly overcome language barriers. It creates motivation right from the first class.

Do you learn faster in group or individual lessons?

In individual lessons, you can achieve faster learning success because you get more speaking time, can shape the lessons according to your own needs, and bring in your own topics. You also have the opportunity to learn any living language in individual lessons.

How often do lessons take place?

Frequency depends on the course format. We offer courses with just one fixed session per week, up to intensive courses with daily lessons of up to eight instructional units per day. If you choose individual training, you can flexibly schedule the frequency and duration of your lessons based on your availability and desired progress. You can also adjust your schedule at any time.

How do kids learn foreign languages in your courses?

The course content is adapted to the age of the participants. This means that our youngest participants learn the new language through age-appropriate activities like singing, drawing, and playing games. For older kids, we use role-playing and active exercises to improve their language skills. It is our goal to boost young people’s self-confidence and provide a useful supplement to the foreign language instruction they receive in school.
